In 2023, I took a class on Strategic Public Relation Communication where I wrote articles focusing on how fashion companies successfully or unsuccessfully portray a brand’s image. Below are some of my proudest articles including some freestyle topics.

An article focusing on the designer, Coco Chanel’s, past and how the brand has successfully hid her dark past. The article recounts Chanel’s history of an unglamorous start and her affiliation with Nazi officials. This is one of my favorite articles I have written because it speaks about the importance of knowing designers’ pasts, as many of them have a major influence on society. Unless we question a designer’s past, we may never know what hides in their closets and how they can impact us. Check it out here!

I wrote an article in February predicting future fashion trends using inspiration from early adopters and the early majority. Since I have written this article, I have already seen an increase in denim skirts and sheer apparel. Check it out here!

I wrote an article analyzing Prada’s Corporate Social Responsibility and how they are measuring up against the values stated in its CSR report. The brand’s effort on its sustainability is more than other luxury designer brands such as Louis Vuitton, however, still lacks conviction in its mission. Check out the full article here!
